It was unbelievable. If you have the opportunity to see this show DO NOT GIVE IT UP! You must watch it ASAP. It’s only $25 a ticket and it’s playing at The Linny in Signature Theatre on 555 42nd between 8th and 9th. was a very moving Off-Broadway play written by an upcoming playwright names Katori Hall. If this name sounds familiar to you it is because she wrote a play that was on Broadway for 3 months, The Mountain Top. This play stared Samuel Jackson and Angela Basset and it was also Katori Hall’s Broadway debut. Katori really gives it her all in this play. I won’t ruin the play, I highly suggest that you watch this play. This should be on your top 3 MUST SEE Off-Broadway shows along with Avenue Q and RENT. I was able to meet so many incredible people because my friend Saycon [Sengbloh]. But before the show I was able to meet Thomas Kail. HE DIRECTED IN THE HEIGHTS! Then I was able to meet him again AFTER the show. IT was so awesome because I was reading about this guy all day today and BOOM! Turns out Kail and Saycon are doing Once On This Island. He’s also directing his second Broadway show Magic/Bird opening on previews March 21st I believe. I also got to meet and speack to the playwright herself, Katori Hall. I am in love with her. Yes, it’s true. THen I was able to meet the director, Patricia McGregor. IT turns out that we knew each other. SHe recognized me from FELA! and being the dance captains younger brother. I have to say that I feel blessed. These last two days have been incredible and unbelievable. Today was utterly amazing.
